Development Update #1

Hello! Welcome to the first update!

(I will try to make a update talking about development once in the week)

Well I'm here to share a little about the work I done for the game since uploading the first demo, and as you can see I have created some new scenarios, scenes, and assets for it. I am using some of the assets I had made previously for other of my projects and as you can see in the screenshots I am also using the assets that comes with RPG maker but I'm editing it to fit the weird vibe of the game.

I'm still developing and writing the story as I go so there may have some changes for the plot, but I have fully defined the characters personalities and motivations. I also have the game's main theme in mind, and I hope I'm doing a good job of conveying this theme of being haunted by the past/not having hopes for a future. Of course that is not the only theme of the game, and also not my only reason to be creating it, it's also a way for me to express myself in the only way I can for now.

Anyway, now for more technical details.

So far I have implemented/created the following in/for the game:

  • 2 new mandatory combat scenes as part of the story.
  • 5 new enemies that will randomly appear as you explore the main map.
  • New visual novel-style scenes with new backgrounds.
  • 3 new explorable maps.
  • And some new assets for scenarios and sprites.

I would go into more detail about exactly what these new things are and would show images, but I don't want to give more spoilers than necessary since a big part of what I want to be interesting about this game is how weird I can make the art.

As things are going, I can say that next week I can put up a longer demo or maybe a full prologue, and I'm pretty happy that I'm being able to make this project.

Thank you for your attention and interest, it really means a lot to me since this game is important to me.
